Simple Summer Makeup

Hello all hope your doing well xxxx

When the weather is really hot I can hardly bear putting makeup on so I tend to keep it very simple and very light. I thought I would share some of my favourite summer makeup products which won't leave your skin feeling cakey or uncomfortable.

Bases

No7 Essentially Natural Founation is £9.95 and I have it in the shade Warm beige. This is a lovely light foundation with fairly good coverage (I personally do not like the high coverage look so this product is perfect) This foundation is apparently a dupe for the Dior BB cream not that I would know as I have never tried the Dior one! It comes in 12 shades which is quite a few compared to others of a similar price range.
Bourjois Bronzing Primer is £9.99 and I usually use this as a tinted moisturizer when I don't want to wear any makeup but feel my skin needs a little colour. It is a really nice mousse like consistency and it is so soft on the skin. It is meant to be worn under your foundation to give a natural glow I have found that you can also use on top of your foundation as a normal bronzer. I love this product as I feel it is very versatile and it smell gorgeous.
Soap and Glory Kick Ass Concealer is £10.00 and I have had it for absolutely ages. Concealer is essential and this product has a beige toned concealer to cover blemishes and then a peachy toned one to conceal your under eyes and then a pressed translucent power on top.

Eyes

Maybelline 24hr Color Tattoo in 35-On and On bronze is £4.99 and these have been raved about in the beauty blogging world so I won't go on about them as you are probably sick of hearing about them all I shall say is I love this shade as it is very natural and easy to wear.
Maybelline The Falsies mascara is £7.99 and is a very good mascara; it curls really well and my lashes don't fall throught the day. I love the shape this mascara gives my lashes. You can either go for a natural look with a few sweeps of the wand or you can load up the product to give a more dramatic look (dramatic is such a cringy word sorry couldn't think of another word!!)

Lips

Revlon lip butter in Tutti Frutti is £7.99 and gives a nice light sheen of colour to the lips. It is a coral, orange colour which is very flattering and suits most skin tones. I also have one in Rasberry Pie but that is more of an Autumn shade. This is one of those lipsticks which you can just thrown in your bag and top up on the go with no mirror. I don't think it has any shimmer in it but I could be wrong.
Clinique Chubby Stick in whole lotta honey is £17.00 on Boots but is much cheaper here at home (around £12.00 I think) I was given this lipstick by my mom's best friend Jane and I blame her for my make up addiction, her house is like an Aladdin's cave of beauty products. She gave me this lipstick a couple of years ago and I am now on my third tube of it. It is the perfect "your lips but better" shade. I go off it occasionally and find something else to become obsessed with but then end up going back to it again!

Right that's all lovelies thanks for reading see you soon!!!!!

My Little Trip to Tarifa

Hello all I hope you are well xxx

Yesterday I went on a trip to Tarifa. For those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about, Tarifa is a town on the south coast of Spain and it is the wind and kite surfing capital of the country. So all the shops are very surfy and you can usually come across some unique pieces in the little boutique style shops. However I (surprising) bought very little; I got some bits and bobs for sailing like a sun proof, water proof stretchy top thingy, some shoes which you usually wear with a wet suit and the cutest little board shorts from Rip Curl. My brother got himself a leopard print Penny Board for his birthday (mom has already hidden that away so your going to have to use your imagination!!)

We then drove from the town to the beach. The beaches are gorgeous there with soft white sand and the whole place has a really lovely chilled out atmosphere. The weather was absolutely perfect there was a light breeze which meant you didn't get hot whilst sunbathing and I spent the afternoon reading my book (I get engrossed in I Capture the Castle I would definitely recommend it) and digging holes with my brother and booby trapping them so people would hopefully fall into them as they walked past.

I adore Tarifa, it is one of my favourite places and luckily it's only a half hour drive from home.

Thanks for reading

A Beautiful Little Yellow Bag

I think the orange lining is a nice touch

The gorgeous little bag

Hello all I hope you have had a wonderful bank holiday Monday and if you are not from the UK a lovely weekend.

I'm back with a post about this beautiful yellow bag which was recently given to me by my mom. I saw the very bag in a boutique in Cornwall whilst I was on holiday there a few weeks ago and I was going to go back and purchase it but I completely forgot. I regretted not going back for that bag. But when I returned home I saw the exact bag in a little boutique in bright orange and could not have been more thrilled. I was telling the shop owner how I had seen the bag in a perfect yellow colour and it turned out she was going to order in more colours that very day (what are the chances of that?!) and she said she would be delighted to order one in for me. So in the end I got my little dream bag.

The reason why I love it so much is that it goes with just about everything as you just wear it in a clashy kind of way (like leopard print). It is real leather and it is a lovely almost mustardy kind of yellow with a orange felt lining. I think it was £28 which for real leather is not too bad and I know I'm going to get a lot of use out of it.

I have recently been styling it with little summer dresses but i think it would also look just as nice in autumn and winter over a winter coat.

Thanks for reading and feel free to leave a comment and I'll check out your blog

Lots of love,

Just a Little Intro

Hello all I hope you're doing fab, I'm Emily (hence Emily's Little Blog!!) and this is going to be my little space on the internet where I shall write about my passions and basically try and put down everything that's going on in my head.

So do you want to know a little bit about me? Well I live in a small place called Gibraltar which is attached to the south of Spain and I live here with my mom, my dad, my brother and my little kitty cat Oliver. I'm addicted to tumblr and when I'm not aimlessly scrolling through my dashboard I'm watching youtube videos and reading blog posts. I've been reading people's blogs for quite a while now but I have never actually had a blog of my own (until now).

My favourite blogs are Sprinkle Of Glitter, Zoella, essiebutton, ViviannaDoesMakeup, ghostparties, Charlotte's Web, Here Comes the Sun, What I Heart Today and loads of other wonderful blogs. I'm sure you know them all but if you don't definitely go check them out.

I'm going to be hopefully writing posts on beauty, fashion, music, books, places I've visited and some random ones thrown in there so stick around and we'll see where the wind takes us!!

Lots of love,
Emily xxxxx
